Tandem Paragliding & Tandem Hang Gliding Flights – The Perfect Gift From Only £120!

If you would like to experience the thrill of flying either a hang glider or paraglider, while taking it easy high above the beautiful Peak District National Park’, then a tandem paragliding or tandem hang gliding discovery flight is for you. Our ‘Discovery Flights’ make the ideal gift or an excellent opportunity to discover the sport, either way expect to have a great day and lots of fun.

The Tandem Flights

Taking flight from grassy slopes is the foundation of traditional foot-launched hang glider or paraglider. The passenger requires no special input to fly our purpose-built tandem gliders, so they can just relax and enjoy the experience, together with the fantastic views, with the opportunity to participate in controlling the glider (if they wish and if the conditions allow). Flights last between 15 to 30 minutes or more, dependant on conditions and the passenger and is captured on still and video camera for free (just bring a 4 GB memory stick with you on the day)

Tandem Paragliding Experience – £120

Tandem Hang Gliding – £130

 

Price of the tandem flight includes BHPA (British Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association) membership and that provides the necessary 3rd party liability insurance.

FREE Tandem Flights

Enrol on to one of our paragliding or hang gliding courses and you may receive free tandem flights during your training (if needed).

Conditions

Every effort is made to carry out the tandem flight on the booked dates or as soon as possible when conditions allow. However, with tandem flights both locations and conditions are more critical than solo flying, therefore it must be understood that no guarantee can be given as to when your flight may take place.

Restrictions

Unfortunately, we are unable to fly passengers over 17.5 stone or 105kg.  All ‘Discovery Flights’ are carried out by Peak Airsports own expert instructor and tandem pilot, Mark Bosher
