Alpine Preparatory Course
This is a one-day course for pilots who are planning their first trip to the Alps to fly. Many recently qualified pilots make an alpine trip their goal, and we find that going from British hills of a few hundred feet to alpine mountains of many hundreds of metres can be very daunting! Having a good forward or 'alpine' launch technique can be the difference between a good flight carried out in a well prepared manner and a nerve-wracking flight following a poorly executed launch. We will spend a day with you working on your forward launch technique with regular video analysis to help you develop confidence and ability to launch successfully on small sites in nil wind conditions.
