What qualifications do I need to paraglide or hang glide?

If you want to paraglide or hang glide on your own you will need to complete both an Elementary Pilots Certificate (ECP), which takes about 4 days and then the Club Pilots Certificate (CPC), which takes about 6 days. You have to complete the EPC before progressing on to the CPC and once you have completed the CPC, you can then join a local club and fly on your own.
